Therapy for Anxiety

There is no such thing as needing a certain amount of anxiety to come to therapy. If you’re uncomfortable and want to work on feeling better, giving us a call and starting therapy is a smart choice. Afterall, if you’re on this site, it’s safe to say you know things need to change. It also means that you’re taking the first step to start feeling better…which is awesome.

Anxiety does a lot of pretty awful things to the body and brain. Some pretty common signs of anxiety are sweaty palms, racing thoughts, lying in bed at night unable to sleep, worrying, feeling overwhelmed, forgetting things, or knowing that your being irrational but not being able to stop. Brainspotting is a treatment approach which helps by identifying, processing, and releasing stored negative or traumatic experiences from the brain to help affected individuals heal from within. Brainspotting is based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. In a session, I teach you how the brainspotting process works and how it taps into your brain to increase your bodies natural ability to heal itself.

Therapy for Depression

Anxious thoughts seem to swoop into your mind on a daily basis and seem to have a hold on you no matter what you do to stop them. You are tired of feeling “stuck” and not able to move forward past the difficult events and traumas of your life. Other people don’t seem to understand why you can’t move on and just “let it go.” The anxiety you feel gets overwhelming at times and you wonder if it will ever decrease.
